VisImage team that is led by Dr. Shi was encountered with highly excited visitors and extremely encouraging comments and queries with regards to their new patent pending technology PePA (Pediatric Platform for Anthropometry) - an efficient system that accurately extracts the anthropometrical measurements from infants in recumbent postures within seconds and without any specific restrictions. PePA is an alternative approach for anthropometrical measurements.

The I³ (Inspire, Imagine, Innovate) exhibition was held at The Hospital of Sick Children, Toronto, Canada, on November 28, 2013. Public that attended the exhibition included doctors, surgeons, dieticians, nurses, physiotherapists, medical students and general public. Reactions of the attendees varied, with respect to PePA; majority were awestruck with the new invention whilst others were inquiring how soon this outstanding apparatus will be available in the market. Live demonstrations with the string tied to the sample doll’s limbs and saved videos of the infants on PePA also made a huge impression amongst visitors.
